Publication of targets and commitments to pause in December

The SBTi is pausing publication of commitments and validations for the holiday season from December 9th until January 5th.

Our final website update for 2022 will therefore take place on Thursday December 8th, with social media promotion of new targets on Friday December 9th.

We will resume publications on January 5th.

What does this mean for your company?

For companies with validated targets:

• Targets approved from November 14th-November 25th will be published on January 5th, 2023 unless companies opt in to be published on December 8th. If so, companies must notify the SBTi by November 30th.
• Targets approved November 28th and beyond will be published from January 5th

For commitments and SMEs:

• SMEs whose targets are approved and have paid their invoice by December 2nd will be published December 8th.
• Commitments submitted by December 2nd will be published on December 8th.

Any submissions after this date will be published in 2023.
