Towards a net-zero and nature positive future: the power of Beyond Value Chain Mitigation in LATAM
On October 23, Ligia Ramos, the SBTi’s Regional Lead for LATAM, will join an expert panel at the COP16 Convention on Biological Diversity with representatives from CDP, UN Global Compact and WWF from Brazil, Colombia and Mexico. Together, they will discuss the importance of Beyond Value Chain Mitigation (BVCM) in Latin America. They will share insights on how companies can use the SBTi’s BVCM recommendations to inform actions and investments outside of their value chains, and how BVCM can help spur financing for just transitions in developing countries – including those in Latin America.
