London Climate Action Week: Ambition to Action Launch Event

The Science Based Targets initiative has published the Corporate Net-Zero Standard V2.0— a major step forward for corporate climate action, and an evolution of the widely adopted global benchmark for business leadership on climate transition.

The Ambition to Action Launch Event event will convene C-suite leaders from the private sector, together with experts from civil society and the wider climate ecosystem. Together, we will explore the next phase of corporate climate action and how the SBTi Corporate Net-Zero Standard Version 2.0 can help companies accelerate implementation, deliver real-world emissions reductions, and strengthen resilience and competitiveness.

The program includes an opening address from Sanda Ojiambo, Assistant Secretary-General & CEO UN Global Compact, a keynote from SBTi CEO, David Kennedy, a Corporate Net-Zero Standard Version 2.0 sector deep-dive with Jim Andrew, CSO, PepsiCo. A leadership panel will feature the Integrity Council for the Voluntary Carbon Market and senior sustainability leaders from organizations that have piloted the new Corporate Net-Zero Standard Version 2.0, including Schneider Electric, Asahi and Danone.
