Swati Khare-Zodgekar

Swati Khare-Zodgekar is SBTi’s Chief Operating Officer.

Swati brings over two decades of leadership experience in finance and corporate operations, supporting strategic decision-making and driving transformation in complex, high-impact organizations. She joins SBTi from the Metropolitan Police Service, where she directed finance business partnering, overseeing a £4bn budget and leading initiatives to improve financial capability and governance. Her career spans senior roles in UK Government including the Department for Business and Trade and the Climate Change Committee and consulting experience in New Zealand, with a strong track record in resource planning and building collaborative partnerships to drive operational excellence.

Swati is a member of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and holds a Master of Business Administration from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, India.
