The Science Based Targets initiative invites you to Road Tester Workshop: Science-based Targets for Financial Institutions.

The workshop will be held in conjunction with Climate Week NYC 2019 and the United Nations Secretary-General’s Climate Action Summit.

Please note that capacity is limited, and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Registrants must be able to attend in person. Refreshments and lunch will be provided.

Workshop objective: Gather detailed feedback from road testers and other stakeholders on draft science-based target-setting methods for financial institutions.

Key topics: Overview of SBT methods (emissions-based (SDA, absolute contraction), capacity-based (PACTA), portfolio coverage); role of actions in achieving targets; sector-specific scope 3 reporting requirements.
