Science-based Target Setting Manual Workshop in Mumbai, India

The Science Based Targets initiative, a collaboration of CDP, the UN Global Compact, WRI and WWF, will host a workshop in Mumbai, India to educate participants on science-based target setting and the Call to Action campaign. Participants will also have an opportunity to giveåÊfeedback onåÊthe draftåÊScience-based Target Setting Manual.

Registration is on a first come, first served basis up to the capacity of theåÊvenue and is free of charge.

Workshop Objectives

This workshop will be held to educate companies on the Science Based Targets initiative activities, the requirements for joining the Call to Action, and the main components of the Science-based Target Setting Manual. Companies will be able to provide in-person comments on the draft manual. All interested parties are invited to participate. Participants will discuss the following:

• methods categorization and descriptions
• method-choosing process
• business case for setting science-based targets
• process to gain internal buy-in
