Validation services governance

As part of SBTi’s transformation from an initiative to a formal voluntary standard-setter with a separate validation services entity, an independent Validation Council has been appointed. The Validation Council will oversee decisions within the SBTi's validation services entity, SBTi Services Limited.

In addition, the SBTi is opening a call for non-executive directors to serve on the validation entity’s Board.

Validation Council

The SBTi Validation Council is an independent deliberation and decision-making body that oversees the governance of the target validation work and approves the standard operating procedures.

Call for SBTi Services Limited Board of Directors

The SBTi Services Limited is calling for candidates to apply to be considered and appointed to the SBTi Services Limited’s board (“The Board”) as Non-Executive Directors.
