Measurement, Reporting and Verification Manager CDP

Emily is the Measurement, Reporting and Verification (MRV) Technical Manager within the SBTi. In her role, Emily is responsible for coordinating the development and implementation of the MRV Framework for assessing the progress and achievement of targets on a science-aligned and transparent manner.

Prior to joining the SBTi, Emily mainly worked for the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in Mexico. Her experience covers climate policy evaluation, collaborative climate action, energy efficiency mitigation actions, and sustainable urban development.

Emily was an International Climate Protection Fellow of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. She holds an MPhil. in Engineering for Sustainable Development from the University of Cambridge and a BSc. in Chemical Engineering from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).
