Romain Poivet

Romain POIVET is climate project manager at ADEME, the ecological transition agency, for which he coordinates the international ACT initiative (Assessing low Carbon Transition) included in the UNFCCC's Action Agenda .

He holds an Engineer's Degree in industrial and environmental risk management and he worked as a consultant before joining ADEME in 2009 on carbon accounting issues. He coordinated and supported the development of methodological guides for the quantification of greenhouse gas emissions from more than fifteen business sectors including the financial sector. He represents France as an international expert on the ISO climate sub-committee and chairs the French standardization group "mitigation and adaptation to climate change.
