Pedro Faria

Pedro is currently environmental leader at EFRAG, where he oversees the Environmental aspects in the development of European Sustainability Reporting Standards. Previously he worked 13 years at CDP first as Technical Director and later as an Advisor. He has been at the inception of many CSR innovations such as the CDSB Framework; <IR> (integrated reporting); electronic sustainability standards (XBRL); science-based target methods/SBTi; corporate renewable electricity procurement (Scope 2 guidance, RE100); CDP questionnaires; CDP scoring; and the ACT project - Assessing low-Carbon transition. He is an Environmental Engineer by training.
