Luca De Giovanetti

Luca De Giovanetti is Manager, Science-based Targets at the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD).

He leads the decarbonization work of the Transforming the Built Environment project, aimed at accelerating the achievement of net-zero emissions across the entire built environment life cycle through system-wide collaboration. Work includes aligning businesses with buildings' climate targets to achieve a Net Zero Built Environment.

Luca has previously worked in South Africa on a sector and market-based approach to facilitating energy efficiency and system transformation.

He holds an MSc. in Environmental Sciences from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETHZ), Switzerland.
