Dr. Stephanie Roe

Dr. Stephanie Roe is the Global Climate and Energy Lead Scientist at WWF, working to advance the science and action on land-based climate mitigation, 1.5ºC pathways, and the climate and nature nexus. She is also a Lead Author of the IPCC Sixth Assessment Report on Climate Change Mitigation. Previously, Dr. Roe led research and implemented projects on climate mitigation and sustainable land-use in over 20 countries and advised companies and governments on climate strategies and policies. Stephanie holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences from the University of Virginia, and a M.E.M. in Ecosystem Science from Duke University.
