Apurba Mitra

Apurba is a climate and energy specialist working with the ESG team in KPMG India. Over the years, she has focused on a variety of solutions around deep decarbonization, energy transitions, climate risk, carbon markets, platform building, just transition, ESG transformation strategy and reporting, assurance, complexity economics, carbon finance among others. She has worked extensively on energy and climate change with the corporate sector but also worked quite closely with the government on policy.

In her previous role, she was the Head for Climate Policy and modelling at WRI India and has also previously worked with the GHG protocol on Measurement and Performance tracking.
