Alberto Carrillo Pineda

Alberto is Chief Technical Officer of the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).

Alberto combines over 15 years of experience in climate change mitigation and environmental protection often contributing to thought leadership in areas related to corporate climate leadership and the role of businesses in fighting climate change.

Alberto holds an MSc. in Environmental Change and Management from Oxford University and a BSc. in Chemical Engineering from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).
