Webinar: Development of Framework for Financial Institutions to Set Science-based Targets

Financial institutions play a foundational role in the transition to a low-carbon economy. This project will develop a framework for setting investing and lending portfolio climate targets aligned with 2-degree pathways. The Science Based Targets initiative, in partnership with 2 Degrees Investing Initiative and Ecofys, will lead a two-year, multi-stakeholder process to develop the framework, working closely with financial institutions and other stakeholders to reach agreement on metrics, target-setting methods and implementation guidance.
