The workshop will equip sustainability professionals with the tools to drive the adoption of Science Based targets within their companies, through a combination of practical and in-depth knowledge-sharing and interactive peer-learning sessions. You can find an agenda for the day here. The workshop is structured in two sections:

1) Tutorials: During the first part of the day, the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) will provide participants with the latest updates, including an overview of the new science-based target setting resources, criteria and validation protocols recently released by the SBTi and incorporating the latest science from the IPCC Special Report on 1.5°C (IPCC SR15);

2) Peer-learning: During the second half of the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to share their experience and learn directly from other companies that have successfully gone through the science-based target setting process. Through a facilitated interactive discussion, companies will identify common barriers to the adoption of science-based targets, as well as levers and tactics to overcome these barriers.
