SBTi Financial Institutions Net-Zero Standard Consultation Workshop - Climate Week NYC

The SBTi is developing a Financial Institutions Net-Zero (FINZ) Standard to help FIs drive and support global net-zero transformation. The FINZ Standard supplements the SBTi’s current criteria for near-term financial institution targets and incorporates latest thinking on scope 3 target setting. The FINZ Standard Consultation Draft Version 0.1 (Draft FINZ Standard) was published in July and is currently out for public consultation and pilot testing.

The SBTi Financial Institutions Net-Zero Standard Consultation Workshop will focus on expert discussion. It will provide an opportunity for participants to learn more about the standard and process and to provide input through a discussion panel and breakout sessions on methods and metrics, neutralization, and fossil fuels led by SBTi Technical Department staff.
