The Climate Bonds Initiative (Climate Bonds) is the world’s leading organization working to mobilize the largest capital market of all, the $100 trillion global bond market, for climate change solutions. It is an investor-focused not-for-profit organization, whose outputs are an open-source public good.
The Climate Bonds Standard and Certification Scheme, an emissions-focused labelling scheme for bonds, helps bond issuers prioritize investments that truly contribute to addressing climate change, and signal to the market that their proposed investments and activities are aligned to 1.5° pathways.
