Marta Iglesias

Director The Carbon Trust

Marta leads the Carbon Trust’s work on science-based targets and net zero targets for corporates. She has worked with major international companies around the world on climate strategy development, carbon footprinting, science-based target setting, supplier engagement and emissions reduction assessment. Her sector experience includes FMCG, manufacturing, food and drink processing, apparel and retail.

Marta has a corporate background, having held a range of leadership positions at Procter and Gamble, including roles in process optimisation, operational efficiency and new product launch.

Marta holds a master’s degree in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London and a master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain).
