Karol Gobczyński

Karol Gobczyński is Global Head of Climate and Circular at TRATON Group. Previously, he was Head of Climate and Energy at Ingka Group, which includes IKEA Retail, Ingka Centres and Ingka Investments. Karol led the work to set the first IKEA science-based targets in 2018 and now works on the integration of the climate and energy agenda across Ingka Group. Karol started his IKEA career working with integration of climate into IKEA supply chain in Central Europe. He then became the Energy and Climate Manager for IKEA Group in Poland.

Karol has a Master in Renewable Energy Science and conducted renewable energy integration research at The Massachusetts Institute of Technology Portugal Program.
