AKDN Climate Change Coordinator Aga Khan Development Network

Dr Hristo Dikanski coordinates the Aga Khan Development Network’s zero carbon transition, covering operations in over 20 countries in Asia and Africa across energy, finance, agriculture, telecoms, construction, tourism, health, education and humanitarian sectors. Hristo supports AKDN agencies to develop and implement environmental and decarbonisation plans.

Prior to joining AKDN, Hristo has worked on climate change adaptation and mitigation projects across buildings, rail and road infrastructure, aviation and cities as a Climate Consultant in UK consultancy firm Arup. Hristo holds an Engineering Doctorate from the University of Surrey and an MEng in Civil Engineering from the University of Bristol, UK.
