Amjad Azmeer
Associate - Climate and Water UN Global Compact Network Sri LankaAmjad Azmeer works as an Associate – Climate and Water for the UN Global Compact Network Sri Lanka. His role is to guide participants towards setting Science Based Targets by leading various climate programs including the Climate Ambition Accelerator Sri Lanka Track.
He completed his Master of Science Degree in Environmental Engineering from the National University of Singapore in 2021. Amjad was also selected as a Future Sustainability Leader by Masdar in the UAE. He has spoken on corporate climate action and water stewardship at various UN Global Compact virtual events including Making Global Goals Local Business (MGGLB Sri Lanka).
