The Science Based Targets (SBTi) initiative is looking for a Product Support Associate to be the primary point of contact for supporting companies with product issues they encounter when using the new SBTi Services Validation Portal. This is custom built software, SBTi Services launched in October 2024, and we are looking for a dedicated team member to lead on identifying and reporting technical issues and communicating updates to customers. This role bridges the gap between users and the development team, ensuring a seamless experience for portal users while enabling the rest of the Target Operations team to focus on core services.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the first point of contact for companies experiencing technical issues with the portal.
Troubleshoot and triage user-reported issues related to portal functionality, login/access, and basic data input/output errors.
Provided prompt, accurate technical assistance to companies on using portal features effectively.
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) is looking for an experienced Full-stack Developer to join our growing Technology and Data Team.
The selected candidate will play a crucial role in improving and scaling the SBTi website, ensuring a secure and robust web experience. You will also contribute to the development of the technical architecture and infrastructure of the SBTi’s digital platforms, with a focus on leveraging Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and DevOps practices to optimize performance, security, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications using modern frontend and backend technologies, such as, HTML, CSS, SASS, JavaScript, React, Node Js, and Python.
Ensure the seamless integration of front-end and back-end systems, optimizing both user experience and performance.
Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes, using DevOps (GCP) best practices for automated testing, scalability, and cloud-based infrastructure management.
Leverage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) tools and services to manage application scaling, security, and reliability.

The Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) is looking for a Project Manager to join our growing Data & Technology Team. You will ensure that key internal and external data and technology tools, products, and services are delivered on time, with high quality, and aligned to business and user needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Works closely with the data & technology team to support large / cross-functional projects with strategic importance to the organization.
Develops project plan, work estimation, and resourcing required to ensure project success.
Performs risk analysis, mitigation, and escalation to ensure stakeholders can react early in correcting the course of projects.
Executes, tracks, and monitors project progress and communicates relevant information to stakeholders regularly.

The Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) is seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the development and enhancement of our Validation Portal, a critical digital platform that enables the submission and validation of science-based targets by businesses globally.
This role requires a product leader who can bridge the gap between technical development and business needs. You will work closely with standards developers, stakeholders, and engineering teams to define, prioritize, and deliver features based on evolving climate standards. While this is not a hands-on coding role, you must have a solid technical foundation and experience with both custom-built and off-the-shelf web applications to effectively guide the team and ensure quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the planning and execution of future releases of the Validation Portal in line with newly developed SBTi standards.
Translate business needs and new standards into clear, actionable product requirements and user stories.
Work with the engineering team and the organization to define Minimum Viable Product (MVP) features, scope, and delivery timelines.
Prioritize feature backlogs and ensure on-time delivery through effective sprint planning and agile product management practices.
