Andres supports the development of target-setting methods and resources for the Science Based Targets initiative through CDP. His work includes comparative analysis of emissions reduction pathways and in-depth, technical evaluation of target-setting methods to align SBTi work with the most up-to-date science. Andres is passionate about interdisciplinary approaches to climate change mitigation that combine research, data science, and innovative communication.
Prior to CDP, Andres worked at the Institute at Brown for Environment and Society. He has published research on the stepwise decline of Arctic sea ice and has developed open-source tools to explore climate data. Andres holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology/Physics/Math from Brown University and is a member of the Climigration Network.
