Tim Hofmann

Tim Hofmann is an intern in the Measurement, Reporting and Verification (MRV) Working Group within the SBTi. He supports the engagement coordination and consultation with internal and external stakeholders comprising the MRV Framework, and updates internal databases on companies’ targets for the MRV project.

Prior to joining the SBTi, Tim worked as a student research assistant for the Graduate School of Economic and Social Sciences at the University of Mannheim where he coded and documented the data on speeches at the UN General Debate. Tim has also worked for the political affairs departments of several German news media.

Tim will graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Business Administration from the University of Mannheim in fall 2022. He will then continue his academic career with a MSc in Environmental Policy and Regulation at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
