Jessica Román

Jessica’s role is crucial in supporting the delivery of a professional target validation service, and she is responsible for the processing of contracts & payments for the new target validation service, pipeline management, management of queries and SBTi email accounts, as well as other ad-hoc admin & financial support.

Jessica worked for WWF Mexico for five years and 6 months as administrator for some projects under the Climate Change Program, such as the Mexico Low Emissions Development Program (MLED), the Global Climate and Energy (GCEI), and the Science Based Targets Initiative (June 2015 – Dec 2017; Feb – Jun 2019). Before this, Jessica worked for two years and 6 months as administrative officer in the British Embassy in Mexico City for the Sustainable Development Dialogue.

Jessica loves sports, especially volleyball, swimming and triathlon. She is very happy to be back with the SBTi and excited with this new cycle with CDP.
