Jan Chowdhury

Jan is the Financial Controller of Science Based Targets initiative through CDP. Jan is responsible for overseeing all accounting functions within the initiative and implementing best practice processes within finance.

Jan is an ICAEW qualified accountant and holds the Audit Qualification too. She’s worked in a wide range of finance roles across audit firms, not-for-profits, and the UK government.

Prior to joining SBTi, Jan managed teams specialising in transformation finance, internal audit and has led on donor audits covering humanitarian aid and research and development for the European Commission.
