Hunter Bell

Hunter Bell is a Project Manager for the Science Based Targets initiative's Financial Institutions team. He works in a coordinating role for the SBTi Finance target-setting framework team, helping to manage and ramp up the capacity of projects and to develop various new resources.

Prior to joining the WRI, Hunter most recently worked as a consultant for the United Nations Environment Program, where he contributed to the UN’s annual environmental inventory as part of the Greening the Blue initiative. He has also worked in reporting on capital programs at Ann Arbor SPARK, as an analyst at a renewable energy startup, and supported institutional sustainability programming and reporting at his alma mater.

Hunter holds an Honors B.Sc. in Earth Sciences & Environmental Science and Management from the University of Toronto.
