Anna Kruip joined UN Global Compact in 2018 to support companies to step up their ambition and align with a 1.5°C future. She supports the Science Based Targets initiative’s Corporate Engagement team and helped establish the “Business Ambition for 1.5°C” campaign. As a Manager in the Environment and Climate Team of UN Global Compact in New York, Anna focuses on driving corporate ambition at the international and local level.

Prior to joining the United Nations, Anna was a civil servant in Germany. As a project coordinator with the Physical Technical Institute of Germany (PTB), she led technical cooperation projects in Latin America and the Caribbean aimed at enhancing regional capabilities in measurement, testing and accreditation with a focus on environment and climate. Anna holds a master’s degree in International Relations from Sciences Po Aix-en-Provence and Albert-Ludwigs University Freiburg.
