Amy Kao

Amy Kao is the Partnerships Manager for the SBTi, working for CDP. In her role within the SBTi, she is developing the initiative’s partnership strategies and models across the teams and stakeholder groups. In particular, she is designing and implementing the stakeholder engagement strategy necessary for scaling the promotion of the Business Ambition for 1.5°C campaign.

Previously, Amy worked on CDP’s Cities, States and Regions team as the North America manager, leading the annual disclosure cycle for over 200 cities in the United States and Canada. She also managed regional partnerships and supported collaborations with partners. Prior experience includes time spent in city government, climate philanthropy, and other nonprofits.

Amy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and International Relations from Tufts University.
