Research and Technical Development

Alice is a Net-Zero Senior Analyst at the Science Based Targets initiative. In this role she is responsible for supporting the development of the Net-Zero Standard. Alice has five years’ experience working in corporate climate change action and low-carbon transition research, having previously held positions at CDP, the Assessing low-Carbon Transition (ACT) initiative and the University of Edinburgh.

At CDP and ACT, Alice worked on the development and implementation of sector specific low-carbon transition scoring frameworks. In her most recent position at the University of Edinburgh, she used big-data to model the social drivers of bioenergy usage trends at national scales.

Alice holds an MRes in Ecosystem and Environmental Change from Imperial College London and as BSc in Earth Science from Trinity College Dublin. She is currently based in Edinburgh.
