Mark Didden

Mark works at KPMG Sustainability, focusing i.a. on TCFD recommendations, managing the impact of business on climate change and vice versa, and reporting transparently on progress.

Previously, he worked at AkzoNobel, a leading global paints and coatings company where he was responsible for the internal and external sustainability reporting of the company. Prior to that Mark worked at World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) in Geneva where he led a number of programs focused on greenhouse gas management and the development of business solutions for climate change, as well a business guide for the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG Compass), developed together with the GRI and UN Global Compact. In 2014, on external assignment, Mark worked as private section liaison officer in the climate team of the office of the United Nations Secretary-General in New York.

Mark also worked at the Philips Corporate Sustainability Office in the Netherlands, where amongst others he developed the carbon footprint reporting process for the company and contributed to the integrated Annual Report. He holds a Master’s degree in industrial engineering and management science of the Eindhoven University of Technology.
