Stakeholder Consultation Webinar: Refinement of the transport sector in the Sectoral Decarbonization Approach (North America)

WWF will host a consultative webinar on updated decarbonization pathways for the transport sector in the Sectoral Decarbonization Approach (SDA).åÊ The webinar will build on the Science Based Targets initiativeå«s aim to expand and refine the SDA method and tool for critical sectors that can significantly contribute to reducing emissions for a well-below 2å¡C world.

The webinar will cover the following topics:

• An introduction to the Science Based Targets initiative and the transport project
• Transport decarbozation pathways in a 2å¡C (2DS) and Beyond 2å¡C (WB2DS) world
• Methodological choices on GHG accounting and GHG target-setting
