Jeff Gowdy is a globally recognized thought leader and practitioner in sustainability and CSR. Jeff has served many Fortune 1,000 companies on sustainability and CSR projects since 2002. His consulting firm, J. Gowdy Consulting, has won multiple awards for its groundbreaking work.
He teaches sustainability at the Vanderbilt University Owen Graduate School of Management. He has guest lectured at Clemson University’s Thurmond Institute for Public Policy, University of Auckland Business School, and Vanderbilt Peabody School of Education.
He project manages PivotGoals.com, a Winston Eco-Strategies project and companion database for Andrew Winston’s book “The Big Pivot”. PivotGoals.com provides the global Fortune 500’s sustainability (ESG) goals to the public for research and analysis.
Jeff holds a B.S. degree in Systems Engineering from UVA and an MBA in Strategy and Environmental Management from Vanderbilt. He graduated with honors from both programs and was the recipient of the Owen Service Award from Vanderbilt. He is an Eagle Scout.
